You now have one square.
Flip it over. Open the pouch-like area and fold it flat, pressing it down.

Make a crease along the dotted line.
Spread the inside open, and fold it flat firmly along the crease you just made.
This is an intermediate step.
Fold the opposite side in the same way.
Fold down only the top layer. Imagine turning the page of a book.
Make a cut with scissors along the solid line.
Fold at the dotted line.
Fold it in half.
Rotate it 180 degrees to flip it upside down.
Fold only the top layer at the dotted line.
Flip it over and fold only the top layer at the dotted line.
Make an inside reverse fold at the dotted line.
